Extrafine (19.5 micron) merino wool is used for this yarn so that it feels soft and gentle on the skin. The yarn is spun with extra long fibers to produce a yarn that is thin and strong with a silky feel. It is very soft and elastic, and a little nylon is added for extra strength to the yarn. The silver shimmer is discreet but effective.

The yarn can be used for socks, shawls, mittens, and larger garments such as sweaters and cardigans. The yarn is very suitable for children's and baby clothes.

We use acid dyes, which are gentle on the environment and provide clear, very durable colors.
