Dusk - expiring color
Handdyed -dyed yarn in navy, brown and a little purple tones.
The softness of the mohair depends first and foremost on the quality of the fibers. Superkid mohair comes from the first sort, and is the softest and thinnest fibers you get from the mohair goat. The second sort is often what is called kid mohair, and is also soft, but not as soft as the superkid mohair. Mohair's ability to retain heat is about twice that of wool. Superkid mohair can be used against the skin, and gives incredibly light and airy garments. The silk gives the yarn a beautiful exclusive pearl morning sheen.
The yarn is thin, so it fits very well as a guide thread for e.g. many of PetiteKnit's designs. This yarn is well suited for ego knitting and children's knitting.
Mohair is not recommended for children under 1 year.
We use acid dyes, which is gentle on the environment and gives clear, very durable colors.
75% superkid mohair/25% silk
Delivered in skeins of 50 grams
We make a reservation that there may be color deviations on the yarn in relation to the pictures, as this depends on several conditions such as screen type, lighting conditions, etc. There may also be variations from batch to batch.

Mohair is not recommended for children under 1 year of age, because the child can get the tiny fibers in the mouth / throat.
Hand-dyed yarn, as the name suggests, is a craft, and there will be differences between skeins. There are a few things that might be good to know before you get started:
There is different ways of using skeins, however when knitting garments, we recommend, as good practice, alternating skeins, it’s not usually essential but it does help to spread colours evenly. The Helix method is our favourite technique when knitting in the round. The more colorvariety in the yarn, the more important. This is explained nicely when knitting in the round in this video, and when you knit back and forth in this video.
If you don't want to knit every other round from different skeins (this is done at your own risk 😉), it is recommended to do this a few rounds when changing yarn. This applies regardless of the color of the yarn.
We want you to get the best possible result on the knitwear you spend a lot of time and resources on. 🥰
Please note that the yarn may contain excess colour. Therefore, wash separately the first time.
All knitted garments should be stored flat.
