Forest green 🌲
Handdyed yarn in a beautiful deep green tone. This can be used for garments with a gauge of 10-15 st/10 cm in combination with other yarn types.
The yarn fits well with larger garments such as sweaters and cardigans. With large needles, knitting is quick.
NOTE! The image is to illustrate the color. The yarn in the picture is a yarn with a different type of twist.
A yarn that is as close to its natural origins as possible. No superwash treatment, just a wash to remove the grease and dirt from the fleece then combed for spinning. A great choice for those looking for a luxurious, non superwash, no nylon yarn.
The main factor determining the quality of merino wool is its softness which depends upon the fineness of the fibres. We use extrafine merino which is some of the finest commercially available for hand dyers. This results in a supersoft yarn that feels gentle against the skin.
The yarn can be used for hats, shawls, mittens, and larger garments such as sweaters and cardigans. The yarn is very suitable for children's and baby clothes.
We use acid dyes, which are gentle for the environment and provide vibrant and very durable colors.

Hand-dyed yarn, as the name suggests, is a craft, and there will be differences between skeins. There are a few things that might be good to know before you get started:
There is different ways of using skeins, however when knitting garments, we recommend, as good practice, alternating skeins, it’s not usually essential but it does help to spread colours evenly. The Helix method is our favourite technique when knitting in the round. The more colorvariety in the yarn, the more important. This is explained nicely when knitting in the round in this video, and when you knit back and forth in this video.
If you don't want to knit every other round from different skeins (this is done at your own risk 😉), it is recommended to do this a few rounds when changing yarn. This applies regardless of the color of the yarn.
We want you to get the best possible result on the knitwear you spend a lot of time and resources on. 🥰
Please note that the yarn may contain excess colour. Therefore, wash separately the first time.
All knitted garments should be stored flat.
