Unfortunately, we do not have the rights to sell the recipe, but you can find it here:
If you want to knit the jacket longer than the pattern suggests, either on the body or the sleeves, you must go up a size.
Novice Cardigan Mohair Edition is knitted from the top down. That is, you start by knitting the purl at the neckline, then the yoke, then the bodice and finally the sleeves. The cardigan is knitted in stockinette stitch, while the edges are knitted in purl. The Novice Cardigan Mohair Edition has a round yoke. It is formed by knitting increases on four needles evenly distributed on the support piece.t.
Size guide and measurements
Note that you can only start from the measurements in the recipe if the knitting strength is respected.
The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a chest measurement of approximately 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120- 130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. Novice Cardigan Mohair Edition should have a range of motion ((positive ease) of approximately 10 cm (ie the cardigan should be approximately 10 cm larger than you in size). This means that if you e.g. measures 90 cm around the chest (measure yourself with a measuring tape around the chest or the widest part of your torso), you should knit size S, which has an excess width of 100 cm. This gives you a range of motion of 10 cm.

Mohair's softness depends primarily on the quality of the fibers. Superkid mohair comes from the first sorting, and is the softest and thinnest fibers you get from the mohair goat. The second sort is usually what is called kid mohair, and is also soft, but not as soft as the superkid mohair. Superkid mohair can be used close to the skin, and provides incredibly light and airy garments. The silk gives the yarn a lovely, exclusive mother-of-pearl sheen.
The yarn is thin, so it is very suitable as a companion thread for e.g. many of PetiteKnit's designs. This yarn is well suited for ego knitting and children's knitting.
